From your first call to a clean roof.
Six steps. No surprises. No guesswork. Here's exactly what happens when you hire The Shingle Queen.
- 01
The 15-Minute Call
Quick call first. We ask about your roof, your situation, your insurance status, and what you're trying to accomplish. If we're a fit, we schedule a visit. If we're not, we'll tell you. Either way, your time is protected.
- 02
Next-Day Site Visit
We come to your property, usually the day after the call. We assess the roof, document what we see, and give you a straight read on what it needs. $50 trip fee, credited to your roof if you move forward.
- 03
The Insurance Conversation
Most Colorado roofs are covered by insurance. With your permission, Janelle talks to your adjuster directly. We know what insurance is looking for, what they'll try to skip, and what you're entitled to under Colorado law.
- 04
We Schedule the Job
Once approved, we get it on the calendar. Most Thornton roofs go in a single day because Thornton doesn't require a mid-roof inspection. Larger or more complex jobs run two days, and occasionally — when a jurisdiction requires inspections or permits add time — a roof can take up to a week. We'll set the timeline with you up front.
- 05
Job Day
Crew arrives. Debris netting goes around the home to protect your landscaping. Janelle is on-site for your job, not just dropping off a crew. When the roof is done, we run a magnetic nail sweep over your lawn, driveway, and walkways.
- 06
Final Walkthrough
Before we leave, Janelle walks the property with you. Roof, gutters, grounds. If anything isn't right, we make it right before we go. Then we're gone, and the only trace of us is the roof.
What if…
- What if there's more damage than expected?
- We stop and tell you before we do anything. Additional work is an additional cost, but we get your approval first. No surprises.
- What if it snows or storms?
- We reschedule. Safety first. No extra charge for weather-driven delays.
- What if I work from home?
- It's going to be noisy for a day. We move as fast as possible. Janelle will give you a heads-up the day before so you can plan.
- What about my skylights?
- We can replace them, upgrade them, or close them in entirely. Your call. Closing in a skylight requires a drywall patch on the interior; we have a trusted contractor for that.
- Do I need to be home?
- No. Janelle will be on-site for the work, and we never need access to the inside of your home. We'll walk the finished job together when you get back, or schedule a separate walkthrough if you prefer.
- Do you work weekends?
- Yes. We can schedule Saturdays and Sundays.
