One thing, done right.
Full roof replacement.
No repairs. No patch jobs. No emergency tarps. We do complete re-roofs, with premium materials, with Janelle on-site every single time.
Why we only do full re-roofs.
A patched roof is a deferred decision. It buys you a year, maybe two, before the next storm finds the next weak spot. We don't want to be the contractor who keeps coming back. We'd rather replace the whole thing once, do it right, and not see you again until your next house.
If your roof is genuinely repairable and that's all you need, we'll tell you, and we'll point you to someone who does good repair work. That's not us.
What's included.
- Tear-off of your existing roof down to the decking
- Inspection and replacement of damaged decking
- New synthetic underlayment
- New step and counter flashing where needed
- New ridge vent
- New shingles (40-year architectural standard, premium tiers available)
- Pipe boots, drip edge, and starter strip
- Debris netting around the home to protect landscaping
- Full magnetic nail sweep before we leave
Why some roofs go faster than others.
Ever wonder why a friend a county over had their roof done in a day, but yours might take longer? It comes down to local rules. Thornton (and some areas like Commerce City) don't require a mid-roof inspection — so once we start in the morning, we don't have to stop and wait for a city inspector before laying shingles, and most re-roofs wrap in a single day. Other Denver Metro jurisdictions do require that mid-job sign-off, which can stretch the same roof to two days. We'll tell you which bucket your address falls into on the first call.
About the shingles.
Our standard recommendation is 40-year architectural shingles. They handle Colorado hail and wind well, satisfy almost every HOA color requirement, and often qualify for insurance coverage upgrades. If you want better (heavier shingles, impact-resistant Class 4, or designer textures), we'll walk you through the options on the call.
If you're going through insurance, ask whether they'll cover an impact-resistant upgrade. Many Colorado insurers will, because it lowers their future claim risk. More on the insurance angle.
What we don't do.
- Repairs or patch jobs. Full replacements only.
- Commercial roofing. Residential only.
- Solar panel homes. Solar removal and reinstallation involves other companies and extends timelines from days to weeks. We don't want to promise speed we can't deliver.
- Out-of-area storm chasing. Thornton and the Denver Metro. We don't travel to chase storms.
Quick answers.
- Do you do roof repairs or patch jobs?
- No. We specialize exclusively in full roof replacements. If you need a patch or emergency repair, we're not the right fit, and we'd rather tell you that upfront than waste your time.
- How long does a roof replacement take?
- Most full roof replacements in Thornton are completed in a single day because Thornton does not require a mid-roof inspection. Some larger or more complex jobs take two days, and occasionally a roof takes up to a week when a jurisdiction's inspections or permits add time.
- What shingles do you recommend?
- 40-year architectural shingles are our standard recommendation for Colorado. They handle the weather, satisfy most HOA color requirements, and often qualify for insurance coverage upgrades.
- What about HOA color restrictions?
- We help you stay HOA-compliant. If your community has an approved color or material list, we'll work within it — just send us the HOA documents and we'll design around the rules.
- Do you work on homes with solar panels?
- Not at this time. Solar panel homes require removing and reinstalling the panels, which involves additional companies and can extend a project timeline from days to weeks. We don't want to promise speed we can't deliver.
